The movie had Navin Nischol, Archana, Om Prakash, Aruna Irani, Deven Verma, Lalita Pawar, Sonia Sahni, M.B.Shetty, Asit Sen, Dulari, Paul Mahindra, Brahm Bhardwaj, Sultan, AnwariBai, Oscar Unger, Aziz, Ranjish, Fatima, Subroto Mahapatra, Vasant, Sarla, Aruna, Marie etc in it.

“Buddha Mil Gaya” (1971) was a movie starring Navin Nischol who had become a hot property after “Saawan Bhadon”. Unfortunately that was the only hit movie he delivered as a hero and he was soon lost to oblivion.

“Buddha mil gaya” was a movie that is not remembered much, but I seem to remember that one of its songs was banned from being played on Akashwani as it was supposed to be too insulting for “buddhas” or something of the sort.
