Remembering Nargis today on the 91st anniversary of her birth.
Born in the year 1929, she made her debut in films as a child artist as early as 1935. And then starting with 1942, she moved on from child roles to adult roles. As I was searching for a song from her early years in films, I chanced to see this song, which is really very playful and chirpy. And listening to the song made me wonder why has this song so far been away from this blog.

“Chhoti Bhabhi” (1950) was a Filmkar production movie. It was directed by Shanti Kumar. The movie had Karan Dewan, Nargis, Shyam, Kuldeep, Gulabi, Shyama, Suraiya Choudhary, Yakub, Johar, Tabassum etc in it.

If a movie title has nouns like “Behan”,”Bahu”, Bhabhi” etc in it preceded by adjectives like “Badi”, “Chhoti” etc then one can safely conclude that sacrificing characters lie ahead in the movie and unless one is masochistic in nature, one needs to steer clear of such movies.
