The movie had Dilip Kumar, Saira Banu, Aprna Sen, Om Prakash, Anil Chatterji, Swaroop Dutt, Chinmoy Roy,Rajni Gupta,Kalyan Chatterji,Banu Bannerji, Qadar Khan, T.A.Liddle, Modi Cohen,Abe Cohen,Alok Choudhary,Panna Kapur, Rasoraj Chakravorthy,Nani Ganguly, Satu Majumdar,Ajit Bengali,Chandu, Pardesi, Shyam Kumar, Shantimoy Chatterji, Mustafa, Sayed, Naqi, Azia, Putan, K N Singh etc in it.

“Sagina” (1974) was one of those few movies where Dilip Kumar and Saira Bano acted opposite each other. This movie, which was a remake of a Bangla movie called “Sagina Mahto” had some nice songs in it.

It was a song that I as a young kid just loved to listen to. I had not watched its picturisation till a few days ago, but that in no way prevented me from enjoying this song.

Dilip Kumar has mostly sung in the voice of Rafi, Talat Mahmood and Mukesh. But there is one movie where he sings in the voice of Kishore kumar as well. This movie is “Sagina”(1974) which came at the fag end of Dilip Kumar’s career as hero.
