In my younger days, when one talked about movies like “Adalat”, “Parvarish” etc, I was reminded about movies of 1970s with these names and featuring Amitabh Bachchan, and the movies of 1958 with the same names were boring in my view.
Now, more than three decades later, perceptions have changed totally. The 1970s movies of the same names are less known than the 1950s movies, especially as far as their music is concerned. The “Adalat” and “Parvarish” of 1958 are still recalled for their timeless music.
Here is one song from “Parvarish” (1958). Its music director is Dattaram, and lyricist is Hasrat Jaipuri. The song is sung by Manna Dey and Lata. What a song ! And considering that this song was created 50 years ago when songs tended to be more relaxed and unhurried, this fast paced song is very much a fore runner of the songs of 1960s and 70s.

I must have heard this song n number of times. Yet it is even more refreshing each time I hear it. It’s beat used increase my heart beat in yester years and when I heard it just now it still did.
I place my heartfelt thanks to you. For now I can hear the song any time I like.

Beautiful song and lyrics are exact. One suggestion is: Stagger the male and female and also when they both sing together so that people who would like to practice the song will do this well.
