“Milan”, a 1967 movie was a runaway hit as far as the movie and its music was concerned.
In fact, one of the song from this movie was the most popular song of the year in the annual programme of Binaca geetmala.
The songs of this movie talked of eternal love spanning over generations. This song, which is the title song of the movie as well, underlines that fact.
This song is a stage song as well which was picturised on Sunil Dutt and Nutan. Mukesh and Lata were the playback singers. Anand Bakshi as lyricist and Laxmikan Pyarelal as music directors came together and created this memorable song.
