“Sanjog” (1961) was one movie that had some very nice songs which are remembered to this day. And that comes as no surprise when one realises that the music director of this movie was Madan Mohan.
Here is a memorable Lata song from this movie. Rajinder Krishan wrote this song and this song was picturised on Anita Guha ( I think). This song, “Badli se nikla hai chaand” is easily one of the evergreen Lata-Madan Mohan classics that has become more popular among discerning audience with the passage of time.

NOBODY BUT NOBODY CAN EQUAL MADAN MOHAN….I REMEBR ALL THESE SONGS AS I WAS ABOUT 20 YEARS OLD WHEN THESE WERE PLAYED ON RADIO CEYLON…THEY WERE SO SAD…AND OF COURSE I WAS IN LOVE WITH SEVERAL GIRLS!!! THESE BRING BACK THOSE BEUTIFUL MEMORIES….SALIM

I had forgotten this song completely until I saw it just now, and what a beautiful song it is! You are doing a great job, posting these great Madan Mohan songs, which otherwise would have been forgotten entirely.
