Resham ki dori
Posted on: April 2, 2009
When one speaks about “Saajan”, most people think of the 1989 movie of this name which had some very nice songs composed by Nadeem Shrawan.
But there was another “Saajan” released in 1969, and its songs were no less. If this “Saajan” is a lesser known movie, then it is because this movie had come in the golden era of Bollywood music. In any other era, its songs would have become much better known.
I have already posted one song from this movie. Here is another song. This is a duet sung by Rafi and Lata. Anand Bakshi was the lyricist and Laxmikant Pyarelal were the music directors.

jeene nahin denge tere nainaa kajraare
jeene nahin denge tere nainaa kajraare
jeenaa ho jise wo aaye kyun preetam ke dwaare
preetam ke dwaare

hello ramneek
u r right abt saajan having released in 91 but this one had manoj kumar & asha parekh in it.
the title of the movie just goes to re-establish a trend in bollywood—- a lack of imagination in giving title to movies
what other explanation can one give for the title devdas coming 3 times till now

I don’t mean to be an asshole but Saajan was released in 91. Nice blog by the way.
