“Bahaaron ki Manzil” was a movie starring Dharmendra, Meena Kumari and Rehman.
Here is a song from this movie. it is sung by Lata. it is written by Majrooh Sultanpuri and its music was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
PS-I thank Greta (Memsaab) for pointing out that this song was from “Bahaaron ki Manzil” and not “from “Baharon ke sapne”. My original write up of this song was for “Bahaaron ke sapne” and then I was wondering why the picturisation of the song did not contain any familiar faces from the movie.

even i got confused when i read atul’s blog coz all along i thought that the song was in “Baharon Ki Manzil”. this movie also had farida jalal as meen kumari’s daughter

display by “list of songs by movie-wise still shows this song as the creation of R.D.BURMAN”(Before the name of “baharon ki manzil “Name of MD is written as R.D.BURMAN)
Further the main female dancer`s name is MALLIKA, who is famous actress MUMTAZ`S sister and wife of “RANDHAWA”(acted in jhonny mera naam as padma khanna`s docile husband)Randhawa is younger brother of famous actor cum wrestler “DARA SINGH”.
Mallika acted in many movies like Khilona(opposite jagadeep-sanjeev kumar starrer),Katputli(Jeetendra, mumtaz starrer)

This is not from Baharon Ke Sapne, but Baharon Ki Manzil 🙂 It’s got Meena Kumari, Rehman and Dharmendra in it, and they weren’t in BKS…still a very pretty song!
