I thought I had posted a few songs from “Detective” (1958) in the blog. Now it turns out that I was confusing this movie with “Inspector” (1956). 😉
“Detective” (1956) was a movie starring Pradeep Kumar and Mala Sinha, unlike “Inspector”(1956) which had Ashok Kumar and Geeta Bali in lead roles.
Here is a song from “Detective”. It is a song picturised on Pradeep Kumar and a kid called Honey Irani (thanks for the information-peevesie’s mom. Rafi sings for Pradeep Kumar whereas Sudha Malhotra has sung for the kid and done a very good job. Her voice actually sounds like a kid’s voice in this song.
Shailendra is the lyricist and Mukul Roy is the music director. One can see Mala Sinha too in the picturisation.

hi atul! whats up with you these days. you seem to have doubts in every song.
anyways i was unable to see the video coz it says “video removed due to violation of terms of use”
but i remember the song from doordarshan days; the child star was “Honey Irani”
