I was not even aware of this movie called “Noor Jahaan” (1967). I became aware of this movie only after I got a farmaish for a song of this movie.
When I listened to this song, I realised that I had heard this song in the past, but I was not aware which movie this song is from. This song is written by Shakeel Badayuni and composed by Roshan. This song is sung by Rafi and Asha Bhonsle and it ius picturised on Pradeep Kumar and Meena Kumari. As the name of the movie suggests, Meena Kumari plays empress Noorjahan and Pradeep Kumar plays Jahaangir.
This song is a nice song similar in quality to the songs of Taj Mahal (which also had music by Roshan). So here is this song, on the farmaish of N. Jayan Menon.

In this movie somehow Shakeel & Roshan combo failed to impress. Magiccombo of Sahir/Majrooh alongwith Roshan produced better songs.
