Meri baat rahi mere man mein

“Saahib Bibi Aur Ghulam” (1962) is a landmark movie in the history of Bollywood movies. The story, the plot, the acting- all these were top class. Public as well as critics appreciated this movie.
Its music played a very important role in immortalising the movie. The movie had some very nice songs.
Not all of the songs are known to me. I become aware of “lesser known” songs from such movies when I receive farmaishes for such song. So it is a farmaish from Raja that made me aware of this Asha Bhonsle song from “Sahib Bibi aur Ghulam”.
I listened to this song for the first time only just now. This song is picturised on Waheeda Rehman. Shakeel Badayuni is the lyricist and Hemant Kumar is the music director. This is the fifth song from this movie that I am posting here, and I have realised that I am only about halfway as far as posting all the songs of this movie is concerned. There are so manyof them in this movie.

Such a lovely song! So sand and beautiful. I recall when seeing this film I stopped it to transcribe the translated lyrics. Thanks for posting.
