Kismat bigdi duniya badli

I have posted a few songs from “Afsaana” (1951). I am told that arguably the best song from this movie is one that is sung by Mukesh and picturised on Ashok Kumar.
This song is “kismat bigdi duniya badli”. I listened to this song just now (for the first time, ofcourse) and I actually found myself liking this song.
This song is written by Asad Bhopali.
Incidentally, the story of this movie was reused two decades later to come up with another movie called “Dastaan” (1970) which had Dilip Kumar and Saira Bano in lead roles. The song equivalent to “Kismat bigdi duniya badli” in that movie was “na yu zameen ke liye hai na aasmaan ke liye” (sung by Rafi).
So here is this song, on the farmaish of Dr Rashmikant Vyas.

I think the video had all the lines that I have posted. As mentioned in the post, I heard the song for the first time just before posting the song.

In fact the song even had a part 2, albeit a very short one.
Secondly, it seems to be a background song and not exactly a playback for Ashok Kumar.

Atul Thank you for the song. Did not know that there are four stanzas to the song. The last one you have written, even does not appear in the clip of the song posted. Would be very much interested to know how you got the wording, and if you have the clip with all 4 stanzas, please please do post it.
I have the movie Afsana on VHS which I intend to convert to DVD
