I have not posted a song composed by Ganesh in this blog for quite some time. The songs composed by Ganesh, though of high quality are very difficult to find. Even then, I have managed to find and post almost 25 % of all the Ganesh songs that he composed. And that makes this blog perhaps the best place to look for songs composed by Ganesh. And I did notice that a search string “Pyarelal’s brother Ganesh” was used by someone to arrive at this blog.
I have posted a nice song from “Sab Ka Ustaad” (1967) in the past. Here is another song from this movie. I stumbled upon this song only yesterday.
This song is sung by Rafi and it is written by Asad Bhopali. The song is picturised on Sujit Kumar (a small time villain,hero’s sidekick etc who plays the lead actor in this movie). In this song he is joined by a dancer who looks like Helen, but she could even be Madhumati, the Helen look alike. I leave it to Helen experts to identify her for me.

I have listened to this song only a few times. And this song does appear like a song that should have gone on to become a big rage. Listen to this song a few times, and it certainly grows on you. And in fact that is how songs become popular. And this song deserved to become extremely popular.
Of course that did not happen because of lack of exposure. I hope that this song will at least get some exposure now, thanks to this post of mine.

Thanks for the correction. I know Sujit Kumar, who is variously known as Dilip Kumar of Bhojpuri movie and later Amitabh Bachchan of Bhojpuri movie. It was a typo, and I have corrected it now.

The actor in the song is Sujit Kumar (not sudesh Kumar as mentioned in your blog. Sujit Kumar was a versatile actor who acted as a hero, villian, side-kick etc. He also directed movies later. He was a big star in Bhojpuri films.
The actress is Helen.
