Many people, including me, may only be aware of “Sargam” (1979), which had some nice songs in them. But there was another movie of this name, viz “Sargam” (1950). This older movie was one of the biggest hit movies of its time and its songs were just amazing.
I have posted three songs from it, and every song is as good as the other. There were more than a dozen songs in this movie and I need to post all of them.
Here is one more song from this movie. This song is sung by C Ramchandra and Lata and it is picturised on Raj Kapoor and Rehaana. P L santoshi is the lyricist and C Ramchandra is the music director.

Atul though all songs of Sargam were good, the gem of the song was “Koi kisi ka diwana na bane ” sung by none other that Lata Mangeshkar. I would love to see the clip of the song PLEASE and you would make my day.
