I find that I have posted only one song from “Dil e Naadaan” (1953) so far. Here is another song from this movie.
This song is a sad song sung by Talat Mehmood and it is picturised on Talat Mehmood and Shyama. I have no idea why Talat Mehmood feels the need to sing a sad song about the “suhaani raat” not being a “suhaani raat” and that the moon and stars should go to sleep. I wonder why he should sing such a song when the situation was ideal to sing a “Chaayaageet” song, what with lovely Shyama by his side. And it is obvious that even Shyama cannot understand that. May be someone who has seen the movie will be able to throw light on this matter.
This song is written by Shakeel Badayuni and Ghulam Mohammad is the music director.
