In Hindi movies, we have songs where the hero teases the lady and then there are songs where the lady
tells him (half seriously) not to tease her. Here is a song that I believe must rank among the best teased songs of all time.
The words of the song (written by D N Madhok) are quite sensuous and on your face. Shamshad Begam’s voice sings the songs in a naughty and inviting manner, half forbidding her husband not to tease her, but in reality giving him the signal to go ahead.
Just as we are warming up and the words are become more saucy, the song ends abruptly. No, it is not censored or anything, it is the uploaded song that is incomplete as it is missin at least one stanza. I hope the full song will be available sometime in future. Watching this song is a nice experience.
Here is this wonderful “teased” song from “Daasi” (1944). It is picturised on Raagini. I wonder who is the person playing his husband in the picturisation.
