“Talaaq” (1958) is a lesser known movie which had Rajendra Kumar and Kamini Kadam in lead roles. Like the movie, even its songs are less known.
Here is a light hearted song from this movie. The song is picturised on Rajendra Kumar and Kamini Kadam (I hope I have identified her correctly). The lyrics are full of witty Hindi idioms and it is clear that the lyricist had good grasp on the language. And it comes as no surprise to find that the lyricist is Pradeep. Asha Bhonsle sings this song and music is composed by C Ramchandra.

It is better if we can have songs on other video sharing sites as well. That will break the monopoly of YT.

interesting song….with all the idioms ‘n proverbs….the only other song i can think of….with proverbs is….the Amithab Bachchan song…..kaliram ka baj gaya dhol….from barsaat ki ek raat.
