I have discussed a couple of songs from “Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan” (1959) in the past. Here is another song from this movie.
This song is sung by Rafi. Only the audio is available so it is not known who lip sync this song on the screen. But it is clear that this song must have been sung by a chaaran (singer) who formed an integral part of the court of kings and it was his job to sing the praises of the kings that they served.
Bharat Vyas is the lyricist. Music is composed by Vasant Desai.
