I had mentioned that I was temporarily at a place where internet and for that matter even electricity was not guaranteed. Now,after pointing the fact out to the powers be, I find that the things are much better. Electricity is avaialble, because the generator set is being switched on in case of no electicity while earlier, people were too lazy to switch on the gen set, which is an essential item in these parts.
And happily, the internet connection is working too. So I have managed to discuss quite a few songs on this day. Here is another song for the day. It is a piano song from “Anupama” (1966). The song is picturised on Shashikala and Deven Verma. The song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Kaifi azmi is the lyricist and music is composed by Hemant Kumar.
It is a song that I became aware of only a few hours ago. it proves my contention that well known movies with well known songs also have some lesser knows songs which are just as good to listen to.
