“Tansen” (1943) was based on the life of the legendary musician Tansen who lived in the era of Mughal emperor Akbar and who was regarded as one of the nine jewels in emperor Akbar’s court. The title role of Tansen was layed by K L Saigal and his love angle was played by Khursheed.
Here is a song from this movie which is picturised on K L Saigal and Khursheed though the song is sung only by K L Saigal. Pt Indra Chandra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Khemchand Prakash.
