“Shakuntala” (1943) is a movie where Jayshree had played the title role. She sang her own songs in this movie. I have already discussed one such song from this movie.
Here is another song from this movie which is sung by Jayshree and it is picturised on herself. This song is written by Dewan Sharar and music is composed by Vasant Desai. It is a nice song written in Sanskritised Hindi and the song is nicely picturised too. And it makes for a refreshing change to listen to a female voice other than the usual ones.
