I have posted four songs from “Dahej” (1950) and I thought I had covered all the songs that are available. While posting those songs, I had not realised that all these songs were sung by female singers. As many as four female singers had sung in these songs. The heroine Jayshee in fact has sung her own songs in this movie.
But what about songs picturised on the hero. Just now I found that the hero Karan Dewan too gets songs to sing. And who is the playback singer for him. That is where I hit a jackpot. I found that the singer is a not one of the usual voices but a “new” voice. Yes, it is a singer called Krishna Goel who has sung for Karan Dewan in this movie.
Here is a lovely song from this movie which is sung by Krishna Goel and picturised on Karan Dewan. Karan Dewan is lovestruck and like people in love, he needs to express himself. And he expresses his feelings through this song. Shams Lucknowi has come up with simple sounding, yet highly effective and expressive lyrics.
Here is a song that was lying hidden in the depths of obscurity. It is my pleasure and privilege to showcase it for the listening and viewing pleasures of music lovers.

Atul ji,
kindly check up singer’s name of this song once again.
I think Karan Dewan is the singer of this song.
KRISHNA GOEL is a female singer,if I am not mistaken.
since video here is not working,I watched it on you tube itself.

earthmusic mentions the singer’s name as Krishna Goel. Of course earthmusic can be utterly wrong. Hamara Forum also mentions the name of the singer as Krishna Goel.
Then I found that there is another song by Krishna Goel sung on another male actor in the movie called “Ladki” (1953). And this voice sounds similar to the song picturised on Karan Dewan here.
