Man moorakh kehna maan

When I look up at the farmaish page, I find that the oldest farmaishes are from one year back and they are about a few songs of K C Dey. Now that I have located those songs, I will try and clear the backlog of these songs as quickly as I can.
Here is a song from “Meenakshi” (1942). This song is sung by K C Dey. Pt Bhushan is the lyricist and Pankaj Mullick is the music director.
What a fantastic philosophical song it is ! Listening to this song is a divine experience. I recall that I had said the same thing about the other K C Dey song discussed yesterday. Yes, that is how it appears to me when I listen to the songs of K C Dey. It would seem to me that he is one artist whose songs should find more representation. In fact, all of his songs within the scope of this blog should be included here. Seeing that the number of song songs in less than one hundred, all his songs can be accomodated here within a few weeks. And that is exactly what I intend to do.
