“Do Dil” (1947) is a movie directed by Jagdish Sethi. This movie had Motilal,Suraiyya,Karan Dewan,Badri Prasad,Gulab etc in it.
Here is a duet from this movie which I had never heard before. It is song by Suraiyya and Mukesh. D N Madhok is the lyricist. Music is composed by Pt Govindram.
As only the audio of this song is available, I am unable to guess how and on whom this song is picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this matter.

DO DIL(1947),a Jamuna Production,had a sizeable contribution of D.N.Madhok.He had not only written the songs,but also wrote stoty,dialogues and screenplay.
This was the First directorial venture for Jagdish Sethi.He floated J.S.Pictures Pvt.Ltd,which produced Raat ki Rani-49,Jaggu-52 and Pentioner-54.In all these films he was the Producer and Director.In Raat ki Rani he wrote the story,dialogues,and screenplay also.However,after Pentioner,he must have realised that Directing and producing films was more difficult than acting and afterwards he concentrated only on his acting career.
Do Dil was a story of Do Mali Ek Phool.Both Motilal and Karan Dewan are in love with Suraiyya,while Gulab loves Karan Dewan.It was a tragedy,where K.Dewan sacrifices his life for the lovers.
Neither the story nor the direction had any novelty.With the routine handling of the film,it was a failure despite good casting and music.
