“Pyaar Ka Saagar” (1961) is a movie starring Rajendra Kumar and Meena Kumari. Rajendra Kumar was on his way to become Jubilee Kumar while Meena Kumari has already graduated to tragedy roles by that time.
Here is a song from this movie. Tis song is a tragedy song in the sense that Meena Kumari pines for her beloved who is separated from her . She is waiting for him the whole night but he does not turn up.
The song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Asad Bhopali is the lyricist and music is composed by Ravi. Rajendra Kumar is also visible in the picturisatio.

The Geet Kosh specifically lists that this one song is written by Asad Bhopali. All remaining songs in the film are by Prem Dhawan.

I have seen the credit sequences(you can see Prem Dhawan`s name only Lyricist of the movie songs, at 0:55 of below video link (& vinyl records of the movie also shows
and came to the conclusion. Sorry for my misleading information.

I have given you the wrong information(on the basis of Hindi geetmala & myswar)
But “raat raat bhar” from this movie, was also written by PREM DHAWAN, and not wrongly informed/written by me as “asad bhopali”
As per credit sequences of the movie also there is only one name was credited with lyricist`s name as PREM DHWAN”
Please correct this mistake and the lyricist of this song is prem dhawan and all the songs of this movie was written by PREM DHAWAN alone
