In Hindi movie, it is only the hero and the heroine who are supposed to have tender feeling and who are supposed to fall in love. Other characers are supposed to be people without feelings who have no place for romantic songs in their lives.
As a believer in equal romantic opportunities for all movie characters irrespective of however small roles they play, I am always happy to see villains, comedians and domestic help having their own romantic lives. and it pleases me even more if they get to sing romantic songs also.
And when the comedian in question is Rajendranath then it warms the cockles of the heart. Rajendranath, as his fans would recall, tended to literally lose his shirt/ pant/lungi etc whenever he decided to fiddle with some piece of equipment. Here he decides to figuratively lose his heart, not to one ladies but two. Unknown to him, one of them is a man cross dressing as a woman. Everyone in the movie hall, except Rajendranath knows that the well built sari wrapping person is a male, bur Rajendranath thinks that it is a woman and he decided to romance “her” outdoors. But while he is warming to the task, he finds Jeewan Kala, his other romantic interest, also appearing on the scene. And Rajendranath then tries to hide both his romantic interests from each other while continuing to sing this romantic song.
Here is this romantic song that Rajendranath addresses to his two romantic interests. This extremely melodious song is sung by Rafi. Qamar Jalalabadi is the lyricist and music is composed by Usha Khanna.
Watching the antics of Rajendranath in the picturisation of this song is great fun.

Song-Rooth ke jaane waali sun afsaanaa pyaar kaa hai(Johar in Bombay) (1967) Singer-Rafi, Lyrics-Qamar Jalalabadi, MD-Usha Khanna
Gulnaar
roothh ke jaane waali sun
afsaanaa pyaar ka hai
shauk se le jaa mera dil
nazraanaa yaar ka hai
o Gulnaar
Gulnaar
roothh ke jaane waali sun
afsaanaa pyaar ka hai
hothhon ki surkhi tauba
gaalon ki laali ghazab kar gayi
shaanon pe bikhhri bikhhri
ye zulf kaali ghazab kar gayi
kyaa baat hai teri
tu jaan hai meri
roothh ke jaane waali sun
afsaanaa pyaar ka hai
shauk se le jaa mera dil
nazraanaa yaar ka hai
o Gulnaar
o Gulnaar
raahon mein naagin banke
aise machalna qayaamat hai
aashiq hoon tera mujhe
tewar badalna qayamat hai
ye haal dekhenge
kya log sochenge
roothh ke jaane waali sun
afsaanaa pyaar ka hai
shauk se le jaa mera dil
nazraanaa yaar ka hai
o Gulnaar
o Gulnaar
darti hai milne se pagli
khwaabon mein aane se darti nahin
kaise main ye baat maanoon
mujhse muhabbat tu karti nahin
iqraar kar bhi le
aa pyaar kar bhi le
roothh ke jaane waali sun
afsaanaa pyaar ka hai
shauk se le jaa mera dil
nazraanaa yaar ka hai
o Gulnaar
o Gulnaar
roothh ke jaane waali sun
afsaanaa pyaar ka hai
