“Seedha Rasta” (1947) was a movie produced by Prabhat Film company. This movie has Shahu Modak and Kamla Kotnis in lead roles.
This movie has some wonderful songs in it which are sung by singers like Parul Ghosh, Naseem Akhtar , Mohantara , Manik Verma , G. M. Durrani and Shahu Modak .
I have discussed one song from this movie in the past. Here is another song from this movie.
The video of this song shows that the song is picturised as a mujra song of sorts. One YT comment identifies the lady lip syncing the song as Indu Pal, sister of Parvin Pal.
All sites describe the singer of this song as Amirbai Karnataki, though I find the voice to be somewhat different from the voice of Amirbai Karnataki that I am used to. I request our knowledgeable readers to tell me whether it is actually Amirbai Karnataki or some other singer.

The singer is Manik Dadarkar (Verma). The lyricist, Aman Verma is her husband.
