“Naaz”(1954) was a S K Films Production, S K Ojha was the producer and director of this movie. The movie had Ashok Kumar, Nalini Jaiwant, Murad, Arif, Tiwari, Veena, Nawab, S. Nazir, Amar, K. Sabir etc in it.
The movie did not leave much impression at the box office. The music of this movie too was soon forgotten.
Music of this movie was nice to listen to, though. I have discussed one song from this movie. Here is another song from the movie. This obscure song is sung by Lata. Prem Dhawan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Anil Biswas.
I heard this song for the first time only just now. And the song sounds like a gem to me.
On the occasion of Prem Dhawan’s death anniversary (7th may), here is this forgotten gem from “Naaz”(1954)as a tribute from the blog to Prem Dhawan. Only the audio of this song is available but it would seem that the song was picturised on Nalini Jaiwant, the leading lady of this movie.
