“Zalzala” (1952) is by now an obscure movie. This movie was produced by a production house called “Art Film Of Asia”. It was directed by Paul Zills. The movie had Kishore Sahu, Dev Anand, Geeta Bali, Krishnakant, Misra, Shakoor, Raji, Sunalini Devi, Sita Bose, Michael, Manju, Jagdev etc in it.
Today (20 july) is the death anniversary of Geeta Dutt. On this occasion, here is a rare Geeta Dutt song from “Zalzala”. This song is written by Uddhav Kumar. What delightful lyrics !
Music is composed by Pankaj Mullick. This was the only Hindi movie where Geeta Dutt and Pankaj Mullick worked together.
Only the audio of this song is available, but my guess is that the song was picturised on Geeta Bali.

The lyricist is most likely Udhhav Kumar. But need confirmation.
