“Alladin and the wonderful lamp” (1952) was a Basant Pictures production. It was directed by Homi Wadia. The movie had Mahipal, Meena Kumari, Vasantrao Pahelwan, B. M. Vyas, Babu Raje, Raja Sandow, Jillo Maa, W. M. Khan, S. N. Tripathi, Azim etc in it.
Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is another song from the movie. This song is sung by Lata and it is picturised on Meena Kumari. Music is composed by S N Tripathi.

One of a few numbers composed by Shrinath Tripathi which I like very much/ I am grateful to a friend, now no more, who introduced this number to me.
