“Dekho Ji” (1947) is as obscure a movie as any. Hardly any information about this movie is available on line.
Here is a wonderful song from “Dekho Ji” (1947). It is sung by Shamshad Begam. Wali Sahab is the lyricist. Music is composed by Tufail Farooqui.
We are discussing some rare songs sung by Shamshad Begam today and we can see for ourselves that she has so many forgotten gems to her credit over the years.
Shamshad Begam may no longer be physically with us, but her songs will stay with us.
A strong pillar from the golden era of Hindi movie music has left us but her memory will remain with us always.
