Ek anokha gham anokhi si museebat ho gayi
Posted on: May 4, 2013
This blog had songs from “Naadaan”(1951) and “Nadaan” (1971). It turns out that a movie of the same title was also released as early as 1941. Very little information is available about this movie. This movie was directed by Zia Sarhadi. The movie had Aman, Noorjahaan, Masood etc in it.
Here is a song from this movie. It is sung by Noorjahaan. Zia Sarhadi is the lyricist. Music is composed by K Datta.
Only the audio of this song is available. It is clear that the song was picturised on Noorjahaan herself.
I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on this movie about which very little information is available online as of now.
Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Avinash Scrapwala.
There is one word in the last stanza that is not clear (it ends in -on). I request our readers with keener ears to help decipher this word.
Song-Ek anokha gham anokhi si museebat ho gayi (Naadaan) (1943) Singer-Noorjahaan, Lyrics-Zia Sarhadi, MD-K Datta
Lyrics(Provided by Avinash Scrapwala)
Ek anokha gham
ek anokha gham
anokhi si museebat ho gayi hai
ek anokha gham
anokhi si museebat ho gayi ee ee
jin ko dekha tak nahin
un se muhabbat ho gayi
jin ko dekha tak nahin
un se muhabbat ho gayi
haaye
ek anokha gham
anokhi si museebat ho gayi
khaak hain dil ke
chale jaane ka gham to raat din
khaak hain dil ke
chale jaane ka gham to raat din
jab se aayi hai jawaani
ik museebat ho gayi ee ee
jab se aayi hai jawaani
ik musibat ho gayi
haaye
ek anokha gham
anokhi si museebat ho gayi
pehle wo haalat ke
ham auron pe hanste thhe zia
pehle wo haalat ke
ham auron pe hanste thhe zia
ab zamaana ham pe hanstaa hai
ye haalat ho gayi
ab zamaana ham pe hanstaa hai
ye haalat ho gayi
haaye
ek anokha gam
anokhi si museebat ho gayi
