“Akayla” (1991) was a Mushir Riaz Production. It was produced by Mushir and Riaz and directed by Ramesh Sippy. The movie had Amithabh Bachchan, Helen, Jackie Shroff, Amrita Singh, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Aditya Panscholi, Kiran Joneja, Keith Stevenson(Introducing), Shashi Kapoor(In Special Appearance), Mahesh Anand, Kanwaljit Singh, Mangal Dhillon, Asif, Nafisa, S.M.Zaheer, Vikram Gokhale, Suresh Devadiga, Anil Yadav, Lalit Tiwari, Arun Manthur, Gopi Desai, Shahryar Khan, Pradeep Chowdhari, Anjana.R., Baby Juhi, Haji, Ghanshyam, Abbas Habib etc in it.
Today (1 july 2013) is the 53rd birth anniversary of Sudesh Bhonsle (DOB 1 july 1960). On this occasion, here is a song from “Akayla” (1991). The song is sung by Sudesh Bhonsle and Manhar Udhas. The song is lip synced by Amitabh Bachchan and Jackie Shroff.
