“Do Phool” (1958) was produced by Akhtar Sultana Kardar and directed by Abdul Rashid Kardar for Silver Wings Production. The movie had David, Agha ,Jeevan, Baby Naaz, Master Romi,Vijaya Choudhury, Bipin Gupta, Ulhas, Pratima Devi, Rajan Haksar, Neelam, Amir Baanu, Mumtaz Begum, Banerjee, Nasreen, Amir Ali, Tiloo etc in it.
Today (19 october 2013) is the 18th death anniversary of Naaz ( DOD 19 october 1995). On this occasion, here is a song from “Do Phool” (1958). This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and it is picturised as a piano cum get together song on Baby Naaz, who was less than sixteen years of age at that time. Others visible in the picturisation include Jeevan, Vijaya Chaudhary, Ulhas, Rajan Haksar, Mumtaz Begum etc.
Hasrat Jaipuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Vasant Desai.

(and I think I have got the right film on the right time. In diwali vacation I like to read the various ‘special diwali editiions’ of different magazines (in marathi) , (and missed them now) and secondly there is always a nostalgia associated with this festival.
