Manna Dey was very dear to all the music lovers, but amongst them were the people, a special class who admired his classical renderings, even many a times the songs were picturized on comedians or character artists. Ever since his demise the media has been rightly informative about his life and works.
So without repeating about him what everybody knows, let us hear this rarest of rare classical song from an equally obscure film ‘Geet Govind’ of 1947. Pd. Indra is the lyricist and the music is by Gyan Dutt. The film was produced by the famous artist Kanu Desai and directed by Ramchandra Thakur. The star cast was Prem Adib, Lila Desai, Sulochana Chaterjee, David, Ram Singh, Bhagwan Das etc.

Heard for first time.By reading title I was mistaken for Lata’s Buzdil number.Anyway it likable song.Upload such more songs.
