The movie had Mahendra Sandhu, Preeti Sapru, Narender Nath, Sapru, Raju Desai, Prakash Gill, Kanwar Ajeet, Salima Din, Fiza-ul-Haq, Gurbachan Singh, Dileep Desai, Laila, P. S. Chaggar, Ramlal, Baburao, Baggar, Subhash, Gurmit, Jay Singh etc in it.
I had never heard of “Habari”, but I am aware of “Hatari”, an American movie starring John Wayne and others. The movie was a thrilling movie on the wild life of Africa. Looking at the picturisation of the song of “Habari” (1978) under discussion, my guess is that this movie may well have been inspired from the American movie. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on this matter.
This song of “Habari” (1978) is a duet. It is sung by Rafi and Sulakshana Pandit. It is picturised on Mahendra Sandhu and Preeti Sapru. M G Hashmat is the lyricist. Music is composed by Sapan Jagmohan.
It is a lesser known song from an obscure movie. The song itself is quite an hummable song.

Lyrics (Provided by Atif M)
pyaara lage
pyaara lage
pyaara lage
pyaara lage
pyaar ki raahon ka
pyaara safar pyaara safar
pyaara lage pyaara lage
raat aur din
ka yeh milan
pyaar ki raahon ka
pyaara safar
pyaara safar pyaara lage
yeh zameen mil rahi hai ae
dekh lo aasmaan se aise do dil milenge ae
door donon jahaan se
aa galey mil ke donon ho o o
aa galey mil ke donon
raat ki baanhon se
jaayen guzar jaayen guzar
pyaara lage pyaara lage raat aur din
ka yeh milan
pyaar ki raahon ka
pyaara safar pyaara safar
pyaara lage just love
you can feel
you are my love
you are my love
laut ke ja raha hai ae
har koyi aashiyaan ko
hmmm neend si aa rahi hai ae
har thhakey kaarwaan ko hmm soyi soyi hawa ka
ho o o
soyi soyi hawa ka hone laga dekho
hum pe asar
hum pe asar pyaara lage
pyaara lage raat aur din
ka yeh milan
pyaar ki raahon ka
pyaara safar pyaara safar
pyaara lage pyaara lage raat aur din
ka yeh milan
pyaar ki raahon ka
pyaara safar pyaara safar
pyaara safar

Had seen in its first (and probably only run in Hyderabad). Don’t remember much of the movie though!
