“Dhoop Chhaaon” (1954), not to be confused with “Dhoop Chhaaon” (1935) was directed by S M Arza for Suhair Art Productions. The movie had Bharat Bhushan, Shyama, N. A. Ansari, Mumtaz, Krishna Kumari, Shamim Akhtar etc in it.

Pahaadani = mountains. The slight vowel ‘i’ at the end is the folk singing effect. You might feel the same, but not very clearly perceptible effect in other similar words.

A melodious song. Heard for the first time.
I get to hear ‘pahaadan.mein’
Also ‘pahaadan’ is rhythmic with words like ‘ankhiyan’ and ‘naagan’ ‘palkan’ etc used in the lyrics.
