“Khamosh Nigaahen”(1946) is an extremely obscure movie by now. Hardly any information is available about this movie. Some vague information available about this movie suggest that it was produced by Roop K Shorey and directed by Moti B Gidwani. This movie had Pran, Manorama, Al Nasir, Subhashini, Zahoor Shah etc in it.
Three songs from this movie has been discussed in the past. Here is another song from this movie.
Only the audio of this song is available. It is known that the songs of this movie were written by Aziz Kashmiri and their music was composed by Vinod. But information about the singers is not available for this song, or for that matter other songs of the movie as well. Someone has mentioned this song as a solo sung by Zeenat Begam and everyone has faithfully reproduced this information. This song is in fact a duet containing a male voice as well.
Lyrics of the song suggest that the lady is inviting her husband to join her on a hot summer full moon night. During the discussion, she complains about the scoldings that she receives from her mother in law all the time. Her husband advises her to be patient and tolerate her. 🙂 I recall that we have another song like this in the blog that was posted long back.

It’s “Ojas ki chaandni mein”
