“Nishaan” (1949) was a Gemini Combines Production. It was directed by S S Vasan. The movie had P Bhanumati, Ranjan, Nagendra Rao, J. S. Casshyap, Maya Banerji, B. Kalla, Narayan Rao etc in it.
Two songs from this movie has been discussed in the past. Here is the third song from the movie. This song is sung by Zohrabai Ambalewaali, Moti and chorus. The song is picturised as a stage performance song. The song had two parts. The first part shows only two actors performing and lip syncing in Zohrabai ambalewaali and Moti’s voice. Later part is sung by chorus and the dance is performed by a group of dancers. The picturisation shows a lady (I am unable to identify her) running away from police and joining the dance in order to escape from the policeman in her pursuit. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify the actors.
