Today (25 october 2014) is the 69th birth anniversary of Aparna Sen (DoB 25 october 1945). She is mainly known as a top actress of Bangla movies but she occasionally forayed into Hindi movies as well.
“Kotwaal Saab”(1977) was one of the few Hindi movies where Aparna Sen made an appearance. This movie was produced by Pawan Kumar and directed by Hrishikesh Mukherji for Amiya Art International. Bimal Dutt had written the story and screenplay. The movie had Shatrughan Sinha,Aparna Sen, Utpal Dutt, Sudhir, Asrani, Ritu Kamal, David Abraham, Raza Murad, Kanu Roy, Amal Sen, Jerry, Mridula Rani, Siddhartha, Anand Pal, Masterjee, Raj Verma, with Padma Khanna, Manmohan, Protima Devi, Om Shivpuri, Dulari in special appearances.
Here is a song from “Kotwaal Saab” (1977). This song is sung by Hemlata. Ravindra Jain is the lyricist as well as the music director of this song. The song is picturised on Aparna Sen, Baby Komal Mahuaakar aka Roopini(dancer girl in blue dress) and Raaj Rani(lady with blue saree), Habiba Rehman(she is one of the dance assistant of the movie, Lady with pink saree, who lip syncs for two lines of the song).

Enjoyed the song very much, Ravindra Jain ji & Hemlata ji have given us many songs with their special touch and I like such songs very much.
