“Jaal”(1967), not to be confused with “Jaal”(1952) was directed by Moni Bhattacharya for New World Pictures. The movie had Mala Sinha, Biswajeet,Johnny Walker,Tarun Bose, Sujit Kumar,Nirupa Roy, Helen, Asit Sen, Jagdish Raj, Niranjan Sharma, Kamran(Guest Artist) etc in it.
Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past.
On the occasion of Rafi’s birth anniversary, here is a lovely Rafi Lata duet from “Jaal”(1967). Anand Bakshi is the lyricist and music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
The song is picturised on Biswajeet and Mala Sinha.

Mizaaj-e-Giraaamii? -= A very polite way of asking “how are you?”
Giraaamii = (adj) profoundly honored. (e.g. someone revered.) it means he or she is held in deep respect and devotion. Religious leaders, saints, priests and martyrs are often considered as revered. Celebrities? Not so much. 🙂
