“Darling Darling”(1977), which was released in 1977, is a recent movie by the standards of this movie, but it sank without a trace. The movie is by now regarded as an obscure movie.
One song, viz. Aise na mujhe tum dekho has been discussed in the distant past, viz six years ago.
Here is another song from the movie. This song is sung by Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhonsle. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by R D Burman.
The song is picturised on Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman. Zeenat Aman, playing his sister in “Hare Rama Hare Krishna” (1972) had graduated to play Dev saab’s love interest by that time, and the movie goers were naturally suitably underwhelmed. They look more like Uncle and niece rather than the love birds that the story line demands them to look like. Later on, he would play romantic roles against females who looked like his grand nieces, with similar disastrous results. 🙂
