“Rangeen Raaten”(1956) was produced and directed by Kidar Sharma. The movie had Shammi Kapoor, Geeta Bali, Mala Sinha, Chand Usmani, Rohit Tony, Pesi Patel, Nazira, Tuntun etc. in it.
Six songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the seventh song from the movie. This song is sung by Mubarak Begam and Sudha Malhotra. Kidar Sharma is the lyricist. Music is composed by Roshan.
The song is picturised as a stage dance song on three female dancers who are seen performing this dance in front of a boisterous crowd of audience who are indulging in catcalls and lewd remarks throughout the performance.
