Here is a quick quiz. Can anyone tell what is 26th October all about? Well well since this is a post by me obviously the answer to the quiz is birthday. But whose? One of our —ahh is it ok if I call the person a founder follower of the blog? One who has seen this ASAD from day one. Someone whose farmaish was first on the blog. if we were school kids. But why not become school kids and create an online party atmosphere. And I didn’t have to look far for the perfect party song. Recently I was listening to Gulzar’s interview on his birthday (18th August) and there they played a new song (by the blog’s standards) penned by him for the 2014 movie “Kill/Dil”. I must confess I was floored by the song seeing the combo of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy-Gulzar. Then to top it the vocals of Shankar Mahadevan and Sukhvinder Singh. It is only today I saw the video to write down the lyrics and I am in love with the song. It features the current spontaneous actress Parineeti Chopra with Ranveer Singh and Ali Zafar. It is from Yashraj Films directed by Shaad Ali.
So here is wishing our Rajaji a very Happy Birthday.

I am also joining the queue of ASAD followers in wishing a very happy Birthday to dear Raja ji and very many happy returns of the Day.
Thanks a lot to PVC’s Mom ji, for drawing attention to the fact and also for this post.
Like many others have said, I too was not aware of this song. Even if I had heard it in passing on the FM or TV, it had not registered.
But a really peppy song.

Thank you, Avadhji. Sorry for responding a day late. Haven’t been feeling too well since last night – weather change in Bangalore (moving into winter) does this to me every year. Will hopefully get ok in a couple of days.
Indeed it is a really peppy song – and a welcome addition to the “happy birthday” songs. So, thanks to Peevisie’s Mom, we got to learn of a new birthday song here. 🙂

Had never heard this song before (not surprising at all considering I hardly know any new songs) – heard it for the first time just now. Very nice – catchy tune. Now I’m going to listen to it a lot.
