This is the rarest of the rare song of Rafi, from an unreleased film of the seventies ‘Ek Bulbula Paani Ka’, for which I do not have any details. Even HFGK is silent about it. This is the only song from the film which is available.
Today (23 january 2016) being the ‘Punya Teethi’ of Jaidevji, this creation is my ‘Shraddhhanjali’ to him on this occasion. The philosophical song is written by Kaifi Aazmi and it is set to the tune of Jaidev. Rafi, with his melodious voice has sung it with lots of feelings. I do not have to explain the meaning of the lyrics, as they are simple and self-explanatory.
