“Umang”(1969) was produced and directed by Atmaram for Gurudutt Pictures. This movie had an amateur cast consisting largely of of FTII, Pune students. The movie had Satish Kumar, Archana, Rehman, Paintal, Subhash Ghai, Asrani etc in it.
Five songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the sixth and final song from “Umang”(1970). This song is sung by Kishore Kumar, Mahendra Kapoor and chorus. S H Bihari is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shankar Jaikishan.
The song is picturised as a party song and almost the whole cast of the movie can be seen in the picturisation. Some of the actors of this movie may look familiar as they became better known in the days to come.

Jaikishen and Shankar went up the hill
To get their refill(drink)
Jaikishen fell down to his death
And Shankar came bumbling after!!!
