“Mere Huzoor” (1968) was a Movie Moghul production. It was directed by Vinod Kumar. The movie had Mala Sinha, Raj Kumar, Jeetendra, Indira, Manorama, Parveen Paul, Ram Mohan, Surekha, Zeb Rehman, David Abraham, Johnny Walker, K N Singh, Manju etc in it.
There were seven evergreen songs in the movie. As many as six of them have already been discussed in the past.
Here is the seventh and final song from “Mere Huzoor” (1968) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Lata and chorus. The song is picturised on Mala Sinha and her sahelis.
Hasrat Jaipuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shankar Jaikishan.

My thoughts same as Peevesie’s Mom. Over 12000 songs posted on this blog – and this song wasn’t posted yet? Chalo, YIPPEEEE ho gaya is film ka bhi. 🙂

Can we classify this song as a ‘Sufi” song? It says ‘Allah’ sixty-four times. A true religious song. (Disclaimer: there is absolutely NO intention to hurt anybody’s feelings.)
