“Heer Raanjha”(1970) was produced and directed by Chetan Anand for Himalay Films, Bombay. The movie had Raj Kumar, Priya Rajvansh, Jeevan, Ajit, Pran, Jayant, Tun Tun, Prithviraj Kapoor, Sonia Sahni, Ulhas, Baby Tabassum, Padma, Veena, Zeb Rehman, Nana Palsikar, Achla Sachdev, Niranajan Sharma, Kamini Kaushal, Padma Khanna, Sapru, Indrani Mukherjee, Dulaari, Mumtaz Begum etc in it.
Seven songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the eighth and final song from the movie. This song is sung by lots of singers, viz. Balbir, Usha Timothi, Krishna Kalle, Hemlata and chorus.
Kaifi Azmi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Madan Mohan.
The song is picturised as a Punjabi folk dance song. I am unable to identify most of the actors lip syncing the song except Raj Kumar. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify the actors seen in the picturisation of this song.
