“Pati Seva”(1947), by now an obscure movie was directed by S M Yusuf. The movie had Sulochana Chatterji, Trilok Kapoor, Dulaari, Shakir, Sharda, Roop Kamal, Shabnam, Saiyyad Ahmad, Bibi, Agha Jaan, Ismail, Nirmal Kumar, Dhanraj, Yakoob etc in it.

This movie had seven songs that were as obscure as the movie itself.

Here is the first song from “Pati Seva”(1947) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Hamida Bano. Wahid Qureshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Gulshan Soofi.

Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.

Song-Hamko tumse pyaar hai (Pati Seva)(1947) Singer-Hamida Bano, Lyrics-Wahid Qureshi, MD-Gulshan Soofi

Lyrics

ham ko tumse pyaar hai
ham ko tumse pyaar hai
tumko pyaar ho na ho
ham ko tumse pyaar hai

aarzoo hai beqaraar
zindagi hai sogwaar
aarzoo hai beqaraar
zindagi hai sogwaar
raat din hai intezaar
raat din hai intezaar
ham ko tumse pyaar hai
tumko pyaar ho na ho
ham ko tumse pyaar hai

tum hamen bhula chuke
yaad tak mitaa chuke
tum hamen bhula chuke
yaad tak mitaa chuke
ham ko aazmaa chuke
ham ko aazmaa chuke
ham ko tumse pyaar hai
tumko pyaar ho na ho
ham ko tumse pyaar hai

sun to dil ki daastaan
tum chale gaye kahaan aan
sun to dil ki daastaan
tum chale gaye kahaan aan
gaa rahe hain ham yahaan
ro rahe hain ham yahaan
ham ko tumse pyaar hai
tumko pyaar ho na ho
ham ko tumse pyaar hai
