We sometime come across uploads that are just one or two minutes long. These uploaders like to tease us by posting just a part of the song. I am sure they have their reasons for doing that. As for us, we, like many others believe that the music should be available in full to all music lovers who are interested.
Just now I was looking for songs of “Begam”(1945). I found that only two minutes long songs of this movie were uploaded on YT. I left a comment there requesting that the uploader should upload the full songs.
Here is a rare song from “Begam”(1945) that was not yet uploaded by anyone on YT. This song is sung by Naseem Bano. Gopal Singh Nep-ali is the lyricist. Music is composed by Hari Prasann Das.
This movie was directed by Sushil Majumdar for Tajmahal Pictures, Bombay. It had Naseem, Ashok Kumar, V H Desai, Vikram Kapoor, Prabha, Puri, Raj Biswas, Harun, Mehar Bano, Sharda, Indu etc in it.
Only the audio of this song is available, but it is clear that this song was picturised on Naseem herself.
I have not been able to get a few words right in the lyrics. I request our readers with keener ears to help fill in the blanks/ suggest corrections wherever applicable.

Vividh Bharati does it daily blatantly and with impunity.
During the opening music of a song they will butt in with the name of MD etc. They will start the song with singer singing directly or end it prematurely and ruthlessly.
Since many years they are interrupting every programme for 1 minute at every 15 minutes for some instrumental music. Wonder what they do during the interval. They should take a leaf from Radio Sri Lanka’s book

I agree with you that a small portion of a song often found on YT never satisfies the true music lover. You were lucky that you could find the full audio song in Audio format and uploaded a video on YT for us to enjoy full song. I love Naseem’s voice, so thanks.
